along the beach, in the Dunes and in the woods.
Mushrooms
From April-November it is mushroom season. Bring your basket and
find delicious mushrooms. But remember - not all mushrooms are
eatable.
Go for a walk in the wood of sand covered oak
trees
The sand covered oak trees is a protected area. The unusual story
about this is that the oak trees are still growing many meters
under the sand, so you will find it is really only the tree tops
you can see above the sand dunes. On your walk you will find some
very beautiful look outs over the woods and the covered oak trees
and at one of the look outs you will be able to see the woods on
one side and the sand dunes near the water on the other side. It is
very much worth the walk. Here as well as in other parts of the
woods, you will have the chance to see wild deers.
Take the dog for a walk
Please remember, that dogs must always be on a leash, as there are
quite a lot of wildlife in the area.
